LATEST (19.12.2011)
The latest studio album "Kotiteollisuus" has gone platinum. This is the second platinum disc for Kotiteollisuus, the last one was for "Helvetistä itään" in 2004.

The next tour will start in March 2012, dates will follow soon, until that time the band is now taking a break. The next studio sessions are planned for spring / summer 2012 when the band should start recording a new covers album "Sotakoira II". Recording a proper studio album of new original material should start around autumn 2012.

NEW MUSIC (2.9.2011)
The latest self-titled studio album will be re-released as an expanded edition. In addition to the standard album the 2 cd set will include a 9 track bonus cd with 4 new previously unreleased studio recordings and 5 live tracks recorded during the spring 2011 tour. The set will be released 26.10.2011 and will be priced lower than the original single disc edition.

NEW ALBUM (19.1.2011)
The new Kotiteollisuus album is done. The new 11th Kotiteollisuus studio effort, titled simply "Kotiteollisuus", was recorded in Kitee and mixed by Mikko Karmilan at Finnvox and Sonic Pump -studios in Helsinki. The recordings feature guest performances by Tuomas Holopainen, Miitri Aaltonen, Antti "Hyrde" Hyyrynen and Ismo Alanko who plays cello on one track.

The first single from the album, ”Soitellen sotaan”, will be delivered to radio stations on 24th of January and the first batch of upcoming 2011 live dates will be made public on the same date. The new album will be released in March.

NEWS ROUND-UP (4.1.2011)
The new live dvd "Itärintama 2003-2010" released in November last year came in on the charts at #1 and after 5 weeks is still at #4. The band has finished recording a new studio cd, the disc is now being mixed and will be released in March 2011. And you can now follow Kotiteollisuus at Facebook (in Finnish).
